Front Seat Removal/Installation

WARNING:

Handling the front seat (side air bag) improperly can accidently deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS before handling the front seat. (See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .)

Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute.
Remove in the order indicated in the figure below.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
