Ignition Coil Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    1. LH: Remove the plug hole plate. (See TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
    2. RH: Remove the dynamic chamber. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
  2. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.

  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Apply a light film of silicon brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to the interior of the spark plug boot prior to installation.
