Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor

The TFT sensor is a thermistor that changes resistance as automatic transaxle/transmission fluid temperature changes. The TFT sensor resistance decreases as fluid temperature increases. The sensor resistance variation is converted into a voltage signal and sent to the PCM.
