Instrument Cluster Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT
.
- Remove the screws (1) and pull the center finish trim panel finish panel (2) out from the instrument panel.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the radio and center instrument panel finish panel.
- Remove the screws (1) and remove the inner hood lock release handle (2).

- Remove the screws (1) and remove the instrument panel steering column cover (2).

- Remove the four screws (1) and remove the instrument panel steering column opening cover reinforcement (2).

- If equipped, position the column gear shift lever aside.
- Remove the screws (1) and pull out the instrument cluster finish panel (2).

- Disconnect the connectors (1) and pull out the instrument cluster finish panel (2).

- Remove the instrument cluster screws (1).

- If equipped with an automatic transmission, pull out the cluster and remove the transmission range indicator.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) and remove the instrument cluster (2).

NOTE:
- When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to learn the strategy.
- Install in reverse order of removal.
