O/D Off Switch
- Remove center console to access switch connector. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, backprobe harness connector. With O/D OFF switch in released position, measure voltage between ground and terminal "A" on switch connector. See Fig 1.
- Battery voltage should be present. Depress switch. Zero volts should be present. If voltage is as specified, switch is functioning correctly. If voltage is not as specified, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect O/D OFF switch harness connector. See Fig 1. Check for continuity between terminals "A" and "B" on switch connector. Continuity should exist with switch depressed and should not exist with switch released. If continuity is as specified, switch is okay. Inspect circuits to ground and PCM. Repair as needed. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
