Oil Pump Installation Note

Apply clean engine oil to the new oil seal.
Push the oil seal slightly in by hand.
Press the oil seal in evenly using the SST .
Install a new O-ring.

Apply silicone sealant to the oil pump as shown.

1. Thickness phi1-2 mm {0.040-0.078 in}
Install the oil pump.
Cut away the portion of the silicone sealant that projects from the body toward the oil pan side.
