Detection Condition
DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors input voltage from front Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S). If input voltage from front HO2Snever exceed 0.55 volt for 54.2 seconds, PCM determines that sensor circuit is not activated when drive mode 3 and following conditions are met:
- Engine speed is above 1500 RPM.
- ECT is above 158°F (70°C).
This is a continuous monitor (CCM). MIL illuminates if PCM detects malfunction condition in 2 consecutive drive cycles. Pending code is available if PCM detects malfunction condition during first drive cycle. Freeze Frame Data is available and DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
