Transmission Range Switch
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove selector rod from manual shaft lever. Rotate manual shaft to Neutral position. Loosen Transmission Range (TR) switch bolt. Align cut groove in TR switch to neutral reference line. See Fig 1 . Tighten TR switch bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install selector rod to manual shaft lever. Connect negative battery cable. Inspect the operation of the TR switch. See SB4A-EL DIAGNOSIS article.
