Tailgate Installation Note
- If a new tailgate is being installed, transfer all moldings, latches, hinges, brackets, cables, links, clips, washers and all remaining hardware to the new tailgate.
- Lubricate each hinge cup with NLGI No. 2 grease.
- Insert the left side of the tailgate into the left hinge and raise it to a 45 degree angle.
- Insert the right side of the tailgate into the right hinge.
- Support the tailgate to allow slack in the support cables and reattach the cables one at a time.
