All-Lock & All-Unlock Relay

  1. Remove all-lock and/or all-unlock relay. See Fig 1 . Measure resistance between terminal No. 2 and all other terminals of relay. See Fig 2 . If all resistance readings are greater than 5 ohms, go to next step. If any resistance reading is 5 ohms or less, replace relay.
  2. Using 2 fused jumper wires, connect positive battery voltage to relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Measure voltage at terminal No. 4. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace relay.
  3. With both jumper wires connected as in step 2), connect another jumper wire between ground and relay terminal No. 2. Measure voltage at terminal No. 5. If battery voltage does not exist, replace relay. If battery voltage exists, relay is okay.
