Magnetic Clutch Inspection

  1. Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.
  2. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to the A/C compressor body.

  3. Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.
    • If not as specified, go to next step.
  4. Verify the magnetic clutch clearance.
    • If not as specified, adjust the magnetic clutch clearance. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT  .)
    • If the magnetic clutch clearance is okay, replace the stator.
