Strut Assembly: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. On 626 and Tribute, disconnect brake line from strut assembly. Disconnect wheel speed sensor (if equipped). On Protege and Tribute, remove stabilizer link nut on strut. Remove lower strut assembly-to knuckle bolts. Remove nuts attaching upper strut assembly to body panel. Remove strut assembly.
