Description & Operation

Power window system is controlled by Generic Electronic Module (GEM). See Fig 1 - Fig 4 . Main switch (master switch) controls all windows. Sub-switch, on passenger's door, controls passenger's window only. One touch function lowers the driver's window fully when master window control switch button is pressed firmly and released. To stop window during one-touch operation, press window switch again. One-touch function is part of main switch.

Tribute models are equipped with an accessory delay relay which allows power windows to be operated for up to 10 minutes after ignition switch is turned to LOCK position or until a door is opened.
