Test 6: Cruise Control Set/ACCEL Switch Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect cruise control actuator connector. While depressing SET/ACCEL switch, use DVOM to measure resistance between cruise control actuator harness terminals No. 5 (Light Blue/Black wire) and No. 6 (Dark Green/Orange wire). See Figure . If resistance is 646-714 ohms, replace cruise control actuator. See CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is not 646-174 ohms, replace cruise control switches. See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCHES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
