Contact Assembly (CLOCKSPRING): Installation

1. Ensure front wheels are in straight-ahead position. Install clockspring. If installing original clockspring, remove tape. If installing NEW clockspring, remove locking insert, and align tabs. See Fig 1 .
2. Install upper and lower steering column shrouds. Connect positive battery cable. Connect negative battery cable. Check AIR BAG light for system faults.
