DTC P0462: Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Circuit Input Low: Condition

PCM monitors voltage at terminal No. 63. DTC is set when voltage is less than .1 volt for 5 seconds. Possible causes are:

• Fuel gauge sending unit malfunction.
• Short to ground in Gray/Red wire between fuel gauge sending unit harness connector and PCM harness connector.
• Connector or terminal damage at fuel gauge sending unit.
• PCM malfunction.
