Grid Filament Repair: Tribute

  1. Obtain rear window defogger repair kit. Clean repair area with alcohol. Place grid line mask over break aligning cut-out slots on either side of repair area.
  2. Apply epoxy to repair area. Remove grid line mask, taking care not to disturb epoxy. Heat repair area with heat gun, holding it 1-2" from repair for 1-2 minutes. Rear window defogger may be energized immediately after repair. DO NOT touch repair area for 24 hours.
