DTC P0464: Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Circuit Performance: Testing

NOTE: Record freeze frame data. Check for service bulletins and on-line information.
  1. Perform fuel gauge sending unit test. See SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - MIATA, MILLENIA, MPV, PROTEGE & 626 article. If sending unit is okay, replace PCM. PCM is mounted to passenger floor, behind glove box. If fuel gauge sending unit is faulty, replace fuel gauge sending unit. Go to next step.
  2. Perform after repair procedure. See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE  . If DTC is not present, testing is complete. If any DTC is present, go to appropriate test for diagnosis and repair.
