DTC P1512: Variable Tumble Control System (VTCS) Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when PCM detects that VTCS solenoid valve is stuck closed under following conditions;

• Engine speed is 400 RPM or more.
• BARO pressure is 30 in. Hg
• IAT is 68°F.
• ECT is more than 176°F.
• TP sensor is more than 75 percent.

• ECT sensor malfunction.
• MAF sensor malfunction.
• IAT sensor malfunction.
• TP sensor malfunction.
• EGR boost sensor malfunction.
• CKP sensor malfunction.
• VTCS malfunction.
• Short circuit.
• PCM malfunction.
