Input/Output Check Mode

NOTE: DTCs must be accessed in numerical order. If a lower number DTC needs to be accessed, discontinue test and start over.
  1. Close all doors. Disconnect negative battery cable. After more than 30 seconds, open driver's side door, and reconnect negative battery cable. Cycle ignition switch to ON position, and press door switch 3 times. Push trip reset button 3 times.
  2. Push trip reset button and select appropriate DTC. See DTC DEFINITIONS  table. Inspect DTC by following procedures under appropriate diagnostic test. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  . To cancel input/output check mode, turn ignition to LOCK position, then back to ON position.
