Motor Relay
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect ABS CM harness connector. ABS CM is located under right side of dash. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Measure voltage between ABS CM harness connector terminals "X" and "AB". See Figure
. Voltage should be zero volts. If voltage is as specified, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring harness and repair as necessary. If wiring harness is okay, go to step 3
.
- Connect jumper wire between battery power and ABS CM harness connector terminal "B". Connect chassis ground to ABS CM harness connector terminal "AK". Measure voltage between ABS CM harness connector terminals "X" and "AB". See Figure
. Battery voltage should be present. If battery voltage is not present, check wiring harness. If wiring harness is okay, go to next step.
- Remove motor relay from hydraulic unit. See Figure
. Check continuity between motor relay terminals "B" and "C". See Figure
. Continuity should exist. Connect jumper wire between battery power and motor relay terminal "B". Connect chassis ground to motor relay terminal "C". Check continuity between terminals "A" and "D" of motor relay. Continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace motor relay.
