Front Seat Disassembly/Assembly: Notes

WARNING:
  • Handling the front seat (with a side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS before handling the front seat (with a side air bag).
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute  .
  2. Remove the side air bag module. (See SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .)
  3. Disassemble in the order indicated in the figure.
  4. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
