Evaporator Temperature Sensor Inspection

- Turn the AUTO switch on. (Full-auto air conditioner)
- Set the temperature control to MAX COLD.
- Push the A/C switch.
- Set the RECIRCULATE mode.
- Close all doors and windows.
- Wait for 5 minutes.
- Remove the glove compartment.
- Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor.
- Measure the temperature at the blower inlet.
- Measure the resistance between terminals of the evaporator temperature sensor.
- If the resistance is not as shown in the Fig 1 , replace the evaporator temperature sensor.
