DESCRIPTION
This Service Bulletin is to inform all dealer Technicians of a revised procedure for sway bar bushing replacement. When sway bar bushing replacement is required for the repair, follow the "Revised Sway Bar Bushing Replacement Procedure" below. This repair procedure supersedes the current repair procedure found in the 2000 - 2006 MPV workshop manuals.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Revised Sway Bar Bushing Replacement Procedure
- Safely raise vehicle on hoist.
- Remove both front wheels.
- Remove lower control link nut.
- Disconnect control link from front stabilizer (to remove tension from stabilizer bar).
- From under vehicle and through wheel well opening, remove both bolts holding stabilizer bracket.
- Remove bracket and bushing.
- Reinstall in reverse order.NOTE: Be sure to add rubber grease to the bushings during reassembly.

* Front wheel alignment, check
Key 3: RUBBER BUSH and/or PLATE (Body side), R
Operation No. & Hours: R0403ARX One side: 0.4 Hrs.
Operation No. & Hours: R0403BRX Both sides: 0.6 Hrs.
