Multi-Function Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. See LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  .
  3. If equipped, remove the tilt wheel handle.
  4. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
  5. Remove in order shown in Fig 1 .
    1. Screws
    2. Connectors
    3. Switch

  6. Install in reverse order of removal.
    1. Tightening Torque 
    2. 2-3 N.m {20-31 kgf.cm, 18-26 in.lbf}
