Instrument Cluster And Panel Illumination: Notes

The instrument cluster and panel illumination consists of the following components:
- Instrument cluster bulbs
- Climate control bulbs
- Selector lever indicator bulb
- Instrument panel dimmer switch
- Fog lamp switch
- Rear defrost switch
- Master power door lock switch
- Passenger power door lock switch
For removal and installation of the climate control bulb, refer to CLIMATE CONTROL ASSEMBLY ILLUMINATION BULBS .
For removal and installation of the fog lamp switch, refer to FOG LAMP SWITCH .
For removal and installation of the rear defrost switch, refer to REAR WINDOW DEFROST SWITCH .
The instrument panel dimmer switch allows the brightness level of the backlights to be adjusted dependent on the customer preferences. When the headlamp switch is in the PARK or ON position the intensity of the backlighting can be adjusted using the instrument panel dimmer switch.
