BRAKELINE Bleeding Sequence

NOTE: Bleeding the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is required only when removing or installing the HCU, master cylinder or opening the lines to the HCU.

Application Sequence
Without ABS RR, LR, RF & LF
With ABS (1) RR, LR, RF & LF
(1) Hydraulic Control Unit. Adequate voltage to the HCU module is required during the anti-lock control portion of the system bleed. Connect the World Diagnostic System (WDS) or equivalent Tester. Access the SYSTEM BLEED FUNCTION. Go to CHASSIS-BRAKING-ABS SERVICE BLEED and follow the directions on the diagnostic tool. Then, manually bleed the brake hydraulic system following the bleeding sequence. Repeat the procedure, carrying out a total of 2 WDS or equivalent tester cycles and two manual bleed cycles.
