| 1 | STUCK PCV VALVE CHECK
NOTE:
This test is intended to diagnose only the PCV valve and related vacuum lines.

Yes | Reinstall PCV valve. Go to step 2. |
| No | PCV valve is sticking. Replace PCV valve. |

| 2 | PCV SYSTEM CHECK
|
Yes | PCV system is OK. Reconnect hose. See DIAGNOSTIC INDEX for other causes of vehicle symptoms. |
| No | System is leaking/plugged or EVAP System is leaking. Go to step 3. |

| 3 | EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM CHECK
NOTE:
If the evaporative emission hose is not connected to the PCV hose, follow the No Action to Take (Refer to VECI decal).

Yes | PCV system is OK. Go to step 4 of DTC P0455 pinpoint test. See EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) SYSTEM MALFUNCTION . |
| No | Check for vacuum leaks/obstruction in the PCV system (e. g., oil cap, PCV valve, hoses, cut grommets, valve cover bolt torque/gasket leak). Repair as necessary. | ||
