Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. PATS module is located behind passenger air bag module. Deactivate air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - PICKUP article. Remove passenger air bag module. Remove PATS module assembly with bracket. Disconnect wiring harness connector from PATS module. Release retainer tabs and remove PATS module from bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
