Test N - Set Speed Fluctuates

  1. Ensure engine is properly tuned. Ensure problem does not occur while driving vehicle without cruise control activated. If problem occurs without cruise control activated, repair engine as necessary. If problem occurs only with cruise control activated, go to next step.
  2. Check for binding or sticking cruise control servo cable, throttle linkage and/or throttle plate. Ensure throttle cable bracket and cruise control servo bracket are not loose. Repair as necessary and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If all components are okay, repair Gray/Black and/or Pink/Orange wire. Perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
