Removal (B3000)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner outlet tube. Disconnect accelerator and cruise control cable from throttle body.
  2. Disconnect harness connectors from throttle body and upper intake manifold. Remove EGR valve. Disconnect vacuum hoses from EGR valve and EGR solenoid. If necessary, remove bolts and throttle body.
  3. Remove ignition coil mounting bolts and coil assembly. Remove EGR transducer. Disconnect evaporative emissions hose. Evenly loosen 3 bolts and 3 stud bolts and remove upper intake manifold.
