Idle Speed & Mixture

NOTE: Idle mixture is not adjustable. If idle mixture is incorrect, see TESTS W/CODES - 1.8L article.
IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS

Application (1) RPM
M/T 700-800
A/T (2) 700-800
(1) Connect a jumper wire between terminals TEN and GND at data link connector. See Figure .
(2) Place automatic transmission in Park.
