Removal & Installation

Remove the 2 dynamic chamber cover retaining nuts and remove dynamic chamber cover. See Fig 1 .
To remove coil(s) on front cylinder head, remove charge air cooler air duct, air cleaner component, air duct, fresh-air duct, mass air flow sensor, air intake hose, resonator and right charge air cooler. See Fig 1 .
To remove coil(s) on rear cylinder head, remove solenoid bracket assembly. See Fig 2 . On all coils, disconnect coil wiring harness connectors. Remove mounting bolts and coil assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
