Trunk Compartment Light Switch

Trunk compartment light switch is inside trunk latch assembly. Disconnect trunk compartment light switch connector (if necessary, remove trim panel and trunk latch for access). Check continuity between truck compartment light switch connector terminals. With switch lever pressed (trunk lid closed), continuity should not exist. With switch lever released (trunk lid open), continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace trunk compartment light switch.
