Test No. 4

Using DVOM, measure voltage at Yellow/Red wire terminal of power seat rear lift motor (backprobe connector terminal) with control switch in up position. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Also, measure voltage at Yellow wire terminal of power seat rear lift motor (backprobe connector terminal) with control switch in down position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals of rear lift motor, check power seat rear lift motor. See MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present at any terminal of rear lift motor, repair Yellow/Red wire or Yellow wire between control switch and rear lift motor as necessary. Check system operation.
