Test No. 3

Using DVOM, measure voltage at Red wire terminal of power seat front lift motor (backprobe connector terminal) with control switch in up position. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Also, measure voltage at Red/White wire terminal of power seat front lift motor (backprobe connector terminal) with control switch in down position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals of front lift motor, check power seat front lift motor. See MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present at any terminal of front lift motor, repair Red wire or Red/White wire between control switch and front lift motor as necessary. Check system operation.
