Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch

  1. Disconnect inertia fuel shutoff switch connector. Switch is located under instrument panel, right of transmission hump. Using DVOM, check continuity between inertia fuel shutoff switch terminals.
  2. With switch tripped (reset button up), continuity should not exist. With switch not tripped (reset button down), continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace inertia fuel shutoff switch.
