One Mirror Is Not Fully Functional

  1. Remove power mirror switch leaving switch connector attached. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, check for voltage at wire terminals of power mirror motor connector with power mirror switch in specified position. See POWER MIRROR VOLTAGE TEST  . Refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If battery voltage is present at specified motor terminal with switch in specified position, replace power mirror assembly. If battery voltage is not present at specified motor terminal with switch in specified position, go to next step.
  2. Using a DVOM, measure the voltage at specified wire terminals of power mirror switch connector with switch in the specified position. Refer to POWER MIRROR VOLTAGE TEST  . Refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If battery voltage is present at specified switch terminal with switch in specified position, repair wiring harness between power mirror switch and power mirror motor. If battery voltage is not present at specified switch terminal with switch in specified position, replace power mirror switch and retest mirror.
