Programming Transmitter

  1. Ensure anti-theft system is not armed or triggered. Turn ignition from OFF position to RUN position 5 times within 10 seconds. End procedure with ignition in RUN position. If Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) system has successfully entered program mode, doors will lock and then unlock.
  2. Press any button on transmitter. Doors should lock and then unlock to confirm transmitter has been programmed. If door locks do not operate when transmitter button is pressed, wait for a few seconds and then press transmitter button again. If door locks still do not operate, go to TEST NO. 7 under SYSTEM TESTS  .
  3. Wait 5 minutes. Turn ignition off to exit program mode. If a new set of transmitters have been programmed or reprogrammed, remote control alarm and door lock system will lock and unlock doors one last time to confirm programming.
