Removal & Installation

  1. CMP sensor is mounted on left front of engine behind A/C bracket. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accessory drive belt.
  2. Remove A/C compressor mounting bolts and set compressor aside. Remove power steering pump and bracket and set aside. Disconnect CMP sensor connector. Remove CMP sensor mounting bolts. Remove CMP sensor from oil pump housing. To install, reverse removal procedure. Recharge A/C system.
