Rotor & Slip Rings

Measure resistance between rotor slip ring contacts. See Figure thru Figure . If resistance is not within specification, replace rotor. See ROTOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Check continuity between individual slip rings and rotor core/shaft. If continuity exists, replace rotor.
