Rear Wiper Motor Operational

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector. Ensure continuity exists between wiper motor terminals "A" and "B". Apply battery voltage to wiper motor terminal "A". Connect ground to wiper motor terminal "B". Wiper motor should operate continuously at normal speed. SeeFig 1 .
  2. To check operation of automatic stop, run wiper motor as in step 1). Disconnect ground from terminal "B", and connect it immediately to wiper motor body. Ensure wiper motor shaft returns to park position. If wiper motor does not test as described, replace wiper motor.
