Steering System - Manual Recirculating Ball: Description

The steering gear is a worm and recirculating ball type. Needle bearing and bushing support the sector shaft in the housing. The worm shaft spiral groove floats on 2 continuous rows of ball bearings recirculating through the ball nut via return guide tubes. Teeth on the ball nut mate with the sector shaft.
