Purge Flow Sensor (PFS)

  1. Disconnect PFS vacuum hoses and connector. Plug CANP solenoid vacuum source port. Apply 4.1 in. Hg to PFS and verify vacuum holds. If vacuum is as specified, go to next step. If vacuum is not as specified, replace PFS.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between PFS SIG terminal (Black/Light Green wire) and GRD terminal (Black/White wire) of PFS. Resistance should be 25.65-28.35 ohms. Measure resistance between PFS SIG terminal (Black/Light Green wire) and VPWR terminal (Red wire) of PFS. Resistance should be 75-100 ohms. Measure resistance between VPWR terminal (Red wire) and GRD terminal (Black/White wire) of PFS. Resistance should be 95-130 ohms. If resistance measurements are not as specified, replace PFS.
