Abs Quick Check Chart

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect control module 40-pin connector. 4WABS control module is located on radiator support, right of battery tray. Connect Breakout Box (49-UN01-058), overlay, ABS Adapter (49-UN01-062) and ABS Harness Adapter (49-UN01-063) to control module harness connector.
  2. Ensure resistance exists between breakout box pin No. 1 and ground, or invalid results may occur. See Fig 1 . Incorrect results indicate wiring or component failure. See CIRCUIT TESTS  for complete diagnostic procedures before replacing component.
  3. When testing wheel speed sensor output, measure frequency and voltage. Result of voltage divided by frequency will not change with wheel speed. Take both measurements at same wheel speed.
