Test No. 4

  1. Close and lock all doors. Measure voltage at specified terminals of CPU 20-pin connector and perform appropriate action. See DOOR LOCK LINK SWITCHES CIRCUIT TEST  . SeeFigure .

    2H (Light Green) Except 5 Go To Step 2)
    2F (Green/Orange) About 5 Check Terminal 2J
    2F (Green/Orange) Except 5 Go To Step 4)
    2J (Green/Black) About 5 Replace CPU
    2J (Green/Black) Except 5 Go To Step 6)
  2. Disconnect CPU 20-pin connector. Check continuity between ground and terminal 2H (Light Green wire) of CPU 20-pin connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace CPU.
  3. Remove driver's door trim panel. Disconnect driver's door lock link switch 4-pin connector. While pressing door lock knob, check continuity between terminals "C" (Light Green wire) and "D" (Black wire) of driver's door lock link switch connector. If continuity exists, replace driver's door lock link switch. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between CPU and driver's door lock link switch.
  4. Disconnect CPU 20-pin connector. Check continuity between ground and terminal 2F (Green/Orange wire) of CPU 20-pin connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace CPU.
  5. Remove passenger's door trim panel. Disconnect passenger's door lock link switch 4-pin connector. While pressing door lock knob, check continuity between terminals "C" (Green/Orange wire) and "D" (Black wire) of passenger's door lock link switch connector. If continuity exists, replace passenger's door lock link switch. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between CPU and passenger's door lock link switch.
  6. Disconnect CPU 20-pin connector. Check continuity between ground and terminal 2J (Green/Black wire) of CPU 20-pin connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace CPU.
  7. Remove both rear door trim panels. Disconnect rear door lock link switch 4-pin connector. While pressing door lock knob, check continuity between terminals "C" (Green/Black wire) and "D" (Black wire) of rear door lock link switch connector. If continuity exists, replace rear door lock link switch. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between CPU and rear door lock link switch. Perform same procedure at other rear door lock link switch.
