Test No. 12

  1. Disconnect CPU 16-pin connector. SeeFigure . With trunk key cylinder turned to unlocked position, check continuity between ground and terminal 1B (Yellow/Blue wire) of CPU 16-pin connector. If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace CPU.
  2. Remove trunk lid trim panel. Disconnect trunk key cylinder switch 3-pin connector. With trunk key cylinder turned to unlocked position, check continuity between terminals "A" (Yellow/Blue wire) and "B" (Black wire) of trunk key cylinder switch connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace trunk key cylinder switch.
  3. Check continuity between ground and terminal "B" (Black wire) of trunk key cylinder switch connector. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between ground and trunk key cylinder switch. If continuity exists, repair wiring between CPU and trunk key cylinder switch.
