Bleeding Brake System: Notes
NOTE:
Only bleed HCU when unit has been replaced. Follow conventional bleeding procedures when HCU has not been replaced.
CAUTION:
DO NOT allow reservoir to run dry during brake bleeding procedure. Brake fluid will damage painted surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled, immediately clean surface. Use only DOT 3 brake fluid and DO NOT mix with any other types.
Bleed hydraulic system whenever air has been introduced into system. Bleed master cylinder and brakes at all 4 wheels if master cylinder lines have been disconnected or master cylinder has run dry. Always bleed brakelines in sequence. See BLEEDING SEQUENCE.
