Test No. 12

  1. Disconnect CPU 20-pin connector. See Figure . With trunk key cylinder turned to unlocked position, check continuity between ground and terminal 2H (Light Green/Red wire) of CPU 20-pin connector. If continuity exists, replace CPU.
  2. If continuity does not exist, remove trunk lid trim panel. Disconnect trunk key cylinder switch 2-pin connector. With trunk key cylinder turned to unlocked position, check continuity between trunk key cylinder switch connector terminals. If continuity does not exist, replace trunk key cylinder switch.
  3. If continuity exists, check continuity between ground and terminal "B" (Black wire) of trunk key cylinder switch connector. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between trunk key cylinder switch and ground. If continuity exists, repair wiring between CPU and trunk key cylinder switch.
