Symptom No. 3
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at Green/White wire terminal of main switch connector with main switch/passenger's in UP position. Also measure voltage at Red/White wire terminal of main switch connector with main switch/passenger's in DOWN position. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, check main switch. See MAIN SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTING. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
- Measure voltage at Green/White wire terminal of sub-switch connector with main switch/passenger's in UP position. Also measure voltage at Red/White wire terminal of sub-switch connector with main switch/passenger's in DOWN position. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, repair wiring between main switch and sub-switch. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
- Measure voltage at Red wire terminal of sub-switch connector with main switch/passenger's in UP position. Also measure voltage at Green wire terminal of sub-switch connector with main switch/passenger's in DOWN position. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, check sub-switch. See SUB-SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTING. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
- Measure voltage at Red wire terminal of passenger's window motor connector with main switch/passenger's in UP position. Also measure voltage at Green wire terminal of passenger's window motor connector with main switch/passenger's in DOWN position. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, repair wiring between sub-switch and window motor. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, check window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR TEST under COMPONENT TESTING.
